EGEE Gets GridWise

EGEE welcomes GridwiseTech on board its Business Associate programme.

Independent Grid experts GridwiseTech have joined the EGEE Business Associate programme.

The announcement came at the GridwiseTech Business Workshop, 22-23 February 2007, Krakow, Poland. This event brought together cross-segment Grid experts, users and vendors and financial decision makers. Building on a longstanding relationship, GridwiseTech and EGEE will work together on joint promotion to the business community to highlight the potential of Grid technology as a solution for today's IT problems.

This joint work will bring a number of mutual benefits:

'We have long experience in consulting with industrial customers and workingnwith large-scale resources', commented Gridwisetech president Pawel Plaszczak, 'the programme is an ideal way to strengthen it. Such co-operation also helps bring together the academic and commercial grid opportunities for the benefit of the grid community as a whole.'
